Amanda Schook (Handley) was a caring and compassionate daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother. She devoted her life to helping others through her passion of speech pathology.
Tragedy
On March 31st, 2022 Amanda and her best friend Sara were killed by a drunk driver. The world lost two wonderful women who made those lives they touched better. Through their grief, the family sought a way to preserve Amanda's memory.
Hope
Amanda's family nickname was Miss Kay, and so The Miss Kay Foundation was created. With the purpose of not only remembering Amanda, but to continue her legacy of helping people.
The foundations goal is to help the next generation of speech pathologists get started.
